Michal Gavish, Multimedia Artist with PhD in physical chemistry, Washington, D.C. The February 9, 2017 DC Art Science Evening Rendezvous (DASER) was the DC Regional Forum (Keck Center, Washington DC).

Topic: Michal Gavish uses her background as a scientist to adopt sub-micro perspectives for portraying the fragility of DNA and body protein structures. She abstracts imagery from preliminary laboratory results that she transforms into larger than life installations and animations.

DASER is a monthly discussion forum on art and science projects in the national capital region. DASER strives to provide the public with a snapshot of the cultural environment of the region and to foster community and discussion around the intersection of disciplines.
